Annual Trip

The Annual Field Visit of the Statistical Circle of the University of Peradeniya was held on the 3rd of Aprial, 2024. This field visit was organized to visit the Tea Research Institute of Sri Lanka (TRISL) in Talawakelle. Accompanied by 44  3rd and 4th year students specializing in Statistics & Data Science, we immersed ourselves in the world of tea research.

The annual field trip of the Statistical Circle of the University of Peradeniya was held on the 7th of March,2023. This trip was organized to visit the Field Crops Research and Development Institute (FCRDI), Mahailluppallama. The main objective was to gather knowledge of ongoing research and the application of statistical techniques in the field of agriculture. The visit was under the supervision of the academic staff and 42 undergraduates joined that day. 

The annual trip organized by the Statistical Circle of the University of Peradeniya was organized in order to develop the collaboration between the undergraduates and it was organized in such a way that the trip was important for studies. This visit was under the supervision of the academic staff and demonstrators also join our visit. For the last year 2019, this trip was organized to visit the Thalawakale Tea state.
